SEEM Nepal holds the distinction of being the first NGO in Nepal to specialize in raising awareness and promoting mass participation in the field of environmental conservation. With a primary focus on global warming and climate change indicators, the organization is dedicated to promoting conservation efforts and initiating renewed activities in this crucial area.

Comprising a team of experts, scholars, and social activists, SEEM Nepal endeavors to bridge the gaps in environmental conservation efforts across the nation. We recognize the importance of engaging the public and, to that end, conducts training programs and seminars on various topics such as carbon sequestration, medicinal plants, wetlands, watershed areas, forest ecology, Himalayan biodiversity, flora and fauna, birds, insects, butterflies, drinking water, floods, natural hazards, and plastic and polythene waste.

Furthermore, we conduct extensive research in different geographical regions of Nepal, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the local environmental challenges and potential solutions. One of their prominent initiatives includes extensive tree plantation efforts, which contribute to mitigating the impacts of climate change and enhancing ecological balance.

Education is a core component of SEEM Nepal’s activities, with a focus on raising awareness about soil conservation, nature preservation, and the importance of a healthy environment. By empowering individuals with knowledge and understanding, we seek to inspire a sense of responsibility and active involvement in safeguarding the environment and its resources.

We multifaceted approach reflects their commitment to addressing various environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices. Through our tireless efforts, we strive to create a greener and more sustainable future for Nepal and its communities.
