Our Objectives
SEEM Nepal can quantify the pattern of different land use changes in upstream communities and estimate the biophysical environmental impacts on downstream communities.
• Reduce contaminating tracks in the environment and ecosystem management; raise awareness towards understanding for natural resources, sustainable agriculture and promote organic farming.
• Improve the living conditions of rural communities in a sustainable way of economic development.
• Maintain and enhance culture, tradition and indigenous knowledge.
• Conserve biodiversity, native and endangered species.
• Take action to limit the global warming associated with development assistance and improvement of the biodiversity.
• Preserve renewable and non renewable natural resources and implement projects in sustainable development.
• Improve the soil and water quality and avoid land degradation and soil erosion.
