Here SEEM Nepal offer a Campaign Named ‘MELANCHOLY’ is an musical awarness programm, an environmental song for an attaempt Guinness World Record as entitle “Most Solos Vocal in a Song Recording”. This song was sang by 365 Nepali Musicians and Singers along with Rastarakabi adhab Prasad Ghimire in May 19th 2016 at Radio Nepal Studio, Singha Durbar Kathmandu. This event was orginized by SEEM Nepal, managed by Ideas & Solutions and supported by Music Composer Association of Nepal. The program was inagurated by Prime Minister Rt. Khadka Prasad Sharma Oli at 8:am and song recording was contiuied till 6 Pm by 26 individual groups.
Environmentalist Nipesh Dhaka shared that the MELANCHOLY will be registered in the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’.
Three studios of Radio Nepal were used for song record that runs 33 minutes 49 seconds.
Dhaka further said that the campaign was put in place in the context when the country is witnessing environmental degradation on a daily basis, inflicting negative impact on ecosystem and human lives. Moreover, the song is based on the nationwide publicity for environment protection.
